Temporary Wall Systems Ann Arbor had the honor to construct a sterile ceiling system in a highly sensitive area in a VA hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. To ensure compliance, all walls and carts were cleaned and wrapped for transport, and all wheels were taped. This was a two-phased project -- the first phase required installation of 72 linear feet, while phase two utilized 118 linear feet of temporary walls. The project built an anteroom to protect hospital staff in the Sterile Process Service area from dust, contaminants, and noise during demolition and construction of the ceiling. We also installed two doors - 32” Clearance Universal Swing with electronic door locks and self-closing mechanisms for each phase. Two Digital Air Monitors monitored negative pressure, temperature and relative humidity. Additionally, one Predator 750 Portable HEPA Air Scrubber, ductwork and diffuser to the corridor for the anteroom, as well as a HEPA-AIRE® PAS2400 Portable Air Scrubber, ductwork and diffuser to the corridor was utilized for each phase. Throughout hte process, feedback from the VA Hospital and our contractor were very positive.
