Temporary Wall Systems provided elevator shaft containment at Ascension Seton Medical Center during construction of the new Women’s Tower. Over the course of several months, our team installed containment on multiple floors and around multiple elevator shafts to help separate active construction from occupied hospital areas.
Because elevator access is critical in healthcare environments, the containment needed to do more than isolate the work area. It also had to adapt as construction progressed. Our team moved the containment from one shaft to another as needed, helping keep key areas accessible for patients, staff, and daily hospital operations while work continued.
This project highlights how modular hard wall containment can support phased healthcare construction in complex, high-traffic environments where flexibility, cleanliness, and operational continuity all matter.
