The 5 Dining Hall at LSU needed a temporary containment solution that could support a phased renovation while meeting a tight university timeline. For Phase 1 of the project, Temporary Wall Systems Baton Rouge - Lafayette installed approximately 90 linear feet of modular hard wall containment across three different ceiling heights.
To accommodate the higher wall areas, the team used Connect on top of the Core wall system and incorporated free-standing posts to make access inside the containment easier for crews. The full project is expected to span four phases over approximately 10 months, making flexibility an important part of the containment plan.
The installation was completed in one night to meet LSU’s schedule requirements. From the general contractor’s first contact to complete installation, the process took just one week, including the site walk, proposal, project questions, ordering materials for the added height, and final installation.
Testimonial: Superintendent said he did not expect a wall of this quality to be built in one night. LSU is going to love this. - Barry M.
