At Lavaca Medical Center in the Greater San Antonio area, the initial phase of this project involved installing approximately 59.5 linear feet of the CORE Shield Wall System to create a secure anteroom containment area.
The containment separated the hospital’s waiting area, cafeteria, pharmacy, and patient rooms into two distinct zones, allowing construction activities to move forward while maintaining normal hospital operations and clinical workflows.
In active healthcare environments, containment plays a critical role in maintaining safety, cleanliness, and operational continuity. This installation provided a clean, professional barrier that allowed renovation work to proceed while minimizing disruption for staff, patients, and visitors.
