Temporary Wall Systems Puget Sound installed modular hard wall containment inside the Sterile Processing Lab at Skagit Valley Hospital in partnership with Skagit Regional Health. The containment system supported long piping installation work within the occupied healthcare environment while helping maintain controlled conditions inside and around the active construction area.
For this project, the TWS Puget Sound team installed 42 linear feet of containment wall, 50 feet of venting, two plastic zip door access points, and a Predator 2000 CFM negative air machine. Because the negative air system could not exhaust directly back into the lab space, the venting was routed through sealed zip door openings and discharged into the hallway while maintaining proper airflow control and containment separation throughout the work zone.
