Temporary Wall Systems Puget Sound installed a modular hard wall containment enclosure inside the Sterile Processing Lab at CVH to support infrastructure upgrades within an active healthcare environment. The project involved constructing a 6-foot by 10-foot containment area with an integrated ante room to allow contractors to install a new power pole adjacent to an existing workbench while maintaining separation from surrounding sterile processing operations.
Because the work took place inside a healthcare sterilization environment, maintaining controlled airflow and minimizing the spread of dust and airborne particles was critical. The containment setup included a 750 CFM negative air machine and a room pressure monitor to maintain consistent negative pressure throughout the work area. This helped support infection prevention protocols and maintain cleaner adjacent operational spaces during construction activities.
