During renovation work at an active Memorial Sloan Kettering facility in Commack, Temporary Wall Systems installed modular hard wall containment to isolate the construction area while allowing normal operations for patients and staff to continue.
The project required three separate containment walls, including two integrated access doors to support controlled entry for the construction team. Two of the walls were installed using ceiling tile clips, while the third wall was secured by bracing into a soffit and anchoring into studs to create a stable barrier.
To avoid disruption in the healthcare environment, the entire installation was completed overnight. By the time the facility reopened the following morning, the containment was fully in place and the space was ready for the next phase of work.
The facility manager noted the clean, professional appearance of the system and the quality of the installation — an important factor in active healthcare environments where safety, appearance, and infection control are critical.
