Healthcare Renovation Containment in Albany, NY
Location: Albany, NY
Industry: Healthcare
This project at an Albany VA hospital called for 70' of modular walls with two corners. They had to be installed during off hours, so Temporary Wall Systems started at 6:30pm and were finished by 9pm. There was uneven flooring and soffits, but our adjustable height walls and poly infill accommodated this. The client was very happy and asked for additional work on the same site.

Retail Construction Containment in Westbury, NY
Location: Westbury, NY
Industry: Retail & Malls
Temporary Wall Systems of White Plains collaborated with TWS Meadowlands on this approximately 60' linear wall in a Westbury retail location. This is phase 1 of a multiple-phase project. Thirty-two feet were 16-foot-high TWS Connect walls. The other 28 feet were fully extended TWS Core walls. The installation was smooth, and the client was very pleased. They plan to use us for the next phases in the months to come.

Temporary Wall Systems with Sliding Door and Air Scrubber Support for Complex Renovation Projects
Location: Yonkers, NY
Industry: Healthcare
In a challenging renovation project, Temporary Wall Systems constructed two specialized temporary walls to accommodate uneven ceilings and unique ceiling tile types. The first wall, stretching 55 feet along a hallway with four soffits, required custom infill with coroplast and ceiling bracing due to the absence of standard ceiling tiles. It also featured a secure sliding door with a keypad lock for controlled access. The second L-shaped wall involved replacing ceiling tiles with painted plywood to provide stable bracing points. To maintain air quality, six rented air scrubbers were deployed with filter replacements as needed. An anteroom installation is planned once demolition is complete, demonstrating the adaptability and thorough containment capabilities of Temporary Wall Systems in complex renovation environments.
FAQs about Temporary Wall Systems
Our modular walls have three layers: a lightweight aluminum face designed to blend in to provide a clean-looking facade, a 1.5-inch thick urethane foam core to reduce noise and a galvanized steel back for durability.
The cost of your Temporary Wall System will depend on the size and duration of your project. Since the walls are reusable, it’s often more cost-effective than drywall for large projects with lots of phases that require walls to be reconfigured. We’ll work with you to determine your business and project needs and come up with a plan that fits your budget. To start the quote process, get in touch with us.
The durability of our temporary walls makes them perfect for projects that involve demolition and construction waste. More recently, our modular walls have been used in hospital, healthcare, lab settings, airports, offices, malls, schools and more to create temporary rooms and research areas. They are constructed to exceed ICRA Class V infection control standards which helps minimize patient exposure to dangerous pathogens, microbes, air pollution, and construction debris.
With plenty of configuration options, our portable walls can adapt to projects of all sizes, both indoors and outdoors. If you want to chat about the specifics of your project, get in touch with us.
Since they are reusable, our modular walls are considered more environmentally friendly than drywall. They can be reconfigured to adapt to the different stages of your project, which means there will be much less waste and clean-up to deal with at the end of your project.
The TWS team will consult, deliver, install, and remove our temporary walls at the convenience of our clients. We pride ourselves on being a turn-key service in the rentable containment wall industry.
